Rock it!

This week I have been nominated to show you all how I would Rock my Robins and hopefully I can do a nice follow up to Randee Lee's gorgeous birthday outfit (I'm sure she had a very fun time in that dress *wink*wink*). Since it's not my birthday...or even close to any day special for me...I've decided to go with something I would wear everyday--work, dinner, drinks...this look works for me. I'm sort of a comfort before style kinda gal (Ok nevermind let's face it...I love both comfort and style--I want it ALL!), so the Angela white patent wedge is perfect. Cute, summery, and COMFORTABLE! I love the casual yet playful look of this striped tuxedo tank from Alexander McQueen's denim line McQ. Tucked into these high-waisted Grey Ant denim shorts, I feel comfortable but feminine showing off my waist-line (what little I have left after that Twix bar I just inhaled), my legs, and most of all my cute FarylRobin shoes. When it comes to handbags, I'm vintage or classic, so i'm opting to sport my classic quilted Chanel purse. I'm the same with jewelry, especially for the look I already have going on. I don't want to look crowded or bogged down with accessories, but I do want to have those few accents that bring some color and humor to what I'm already wearing. Because my outfit is somewhat colorless, I opted for this amazing green jeweled cocktail ring by Rachel Leigh, an exclusive right now on Shopbop.com, to bring in a lil POP to my outfit. I also have some gold, rose gold, and silver stackable rings by Adina Reyter shown as an option I like, which is to mix gold and silver...but with this outfit, I'm wearing the green cocktail ring. To bring in some humor (because anyone who really knows me, knows I love bringing in sublte humor) I found this amazing orange and white jeweled giraffe cuff from Kenneth Jay Lane that sits nicely on my wrist and the orange accents compliment the green ring. When I saw this cuff I fell in love (I had to whip out the plastic). The bracelet is chic but is also so subtely hilarious! To finish off the look I've chosen some simple gold ball stud earrings. See below to see the big smile it brings me to Rock the Robins! Don't forget to check out our website to see other styles and where you can buy your own FarylRobin shoes!~ AND don't hesitate to share with us how you would rock em'.

Long lost San Francisco photos

So Faryl has been a busy traveler. These are some photos from her trip in March to San Francisco, where she visited Bloomingdale's and had a store event at Nordstrom. She also has photos from her Bloomingdale's store event in Chicago and her trip to Italy which will be posted tomorrow. Trust me, the Italy pics you have to see. Stop back and check it out.

Faryl, Basil, and Jackie--Basil is the store manager of the most beautiful Bloomingdale's ever...it's gorgeous.

It's the weather for wedges!

So I had been loving this warm weather in NYC! On nice days like these, you want to grab an iced coffee, take a little walk and enjoy the sun. Little wedges are definitely in this season and comfortable enough to do a lot of walking. Our sookie and sardi are two of my favorites. Youlookfab.com featured the sookie in Monday's blog about wedges. Check it out! The sookie is so colorful, it is perfect with a printed mini dress...that is if you want to show off some leg!

Here's a picture of the sookie from our website. The sookie is even cuter in front of a washing machine!

I saved the sardi for last because everyone in the office knows that it is my favorite shoe from the Spring 07 line. I love the woven leather design and the little peep toe. The sardi in sunset was actually one of the Lucky editor's picks for May.

Reds and whites usually make me think of peppermint candy canes, and Jolly Ol' St. Nick, but for some reason these reds and whites are a breath of fresh summer air! I actually want to find a pair of cropped trousers to wear with my sardi's, maybe with a nautical theme or sailor pant look. So if any of you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them. I have been searching and searching and haven't quite found something I like.

Rock the Robin!

If you didn't know, Farylrobin is a company made up of many women, with very different styles. We all rock our 'robins differently. Here at Farylrobin, we wanted to start "Rock the Robin," where weekly we will style a new look with a different farylrobin shoe. Since it is Miss Randee Lee's birthday tomorrow, she is going to kick off the first "Rock the Robin" with fashion and accessories she wants for spring to wear with her favorite farylrobins. So all of you that still need to get RL a last minute gift, tomorrow check out her blog:)

This is our little show 'n' tell, so we are also curious to know how our farylrobin fans wear their 'robins. So if you have a great look and think you know how to "Rock the Robin," send pictures and ideas to farylrobin@farylrobin.com. We want to know about your style. Where do you find your inspiration? Where do you shop? Who is your fashion icon? What was the last song you went crazy and danced your farylrobins off? We want to know the scoop on you! Who knows, your look might be the next "Rock the Robin" feature.

No Chocolate Bunny for me!

So it is the Monday after Easter and I have yet to eat a chocolate bunny... Every year my mom sends me a chocolate bunny. And every year I thoroughly enjoy biting off the bunny's ears! This year I didn't receive a chocolate bunny and am a little upset. So after work, I am going on a Post-Easter candy shopping spree and picking myself up a chocolate bunny and of course a few cadbury eggs. You have to stock up on the cadbury eggs since they are only sold at Easter.

I did a little research on the famous Cadbury Creme Egg. Creme eggs were invented in 1923, but the Cadbury Creme eggs didn't hit the market until 1971, when scientists at the Bourneville Factory in Birmingham England first created them. Now rumor has it the Cadbury egg has gotten smaller. ummmmm....I don't know how I feel about that. Check out this Conan O'Brien clip off of YouTube about the Cadbury egg.

Even if they have gotten smaller, I still love them!
